WSRE Brings Phil Rosenthal to Pensacola November 17

Phil Rosenthal, best known as the co-creator of TV’s “Everybody Loves Raymond,” is also the creator and host of “I’ll Have What Phil’s Having”—the series that combines his love of food and travel with his unique brand of humor. The WSRE Public Square Speakers Series will host a free lecture by Rosenthal on at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 in WSRE’s Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio.

All performances are open to the public, and admission is free. Donations for MANNA Food Pantries will be collected at the door.

On PBS stations nationwide, Saturday is American Graduate Day, and a four-hour broadcast from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. CDT will spotlight individuals and non-profit organizations dedicated to helping youth stay on track to high school graduation. The “RALLY 2016” on-air candidate forum for the upcoming general elections in Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 25–26. To participate in the live broadcast, each candidate must demonstrate that he or she satisfies the candidate forum criteria for their particular race before 5 p.m. CST on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
