Entertainer and piano prodigy Ethan Bortnick performs for local military

WHO:
Entertainer and piano prodigy Ethan Bortnick performs for local military service members during production of a half-hour television program for future broadcast. 

WHAT:
Special patriotic performance recording session to be filmed before a military audience at the WSRE Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio the night following his previously announced “Ethan Bortnick Live in Concert” performance to be given in support of WSRE.  Wednesday’s patriotic program is open to the public, and military service members are encouraged to attend. (Admission to Tuesday’s “Ethan Bortnick Live in Concert” performance is $50 with proceeds supporting WSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast.)

WHERE:
WSRE’s Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio on the Pensacola State College campus at 1000 College Boulevard in Pensacola.

WHEN:
Wednesday, October 28 at 7 p.m.; doors open to the public at 6 p.m. Ethan will be available for live TV and radio interviews at WSRE beginning about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28 and Wednesday, October 29. (Showtime is the same for his “Ethan Bortnick Live in Concert” performance on Tuesday.)

WHY:
WSRE is hosting this recording session performance and producing a half-hour concert program for future broadcast.
