Guitarists Greg Carmichael and Miles Gilderdale are celebrating more than two decades together and forging ahead, complete with nostalgic fans, as an instrumental powerhouse duo in contemporary jazz. In 1987, Acoustic Alchemy gained thousands of fans around the world with the release of "Red Dust" and Spanish Lace." One of the band's most remarkable recordings was 1996's "Arcanum," which featured new arrangements of classics, a few new tracks, and full orchestration. In 2009, they released "The Very Best of Acoustic Alchemy Vol. 2." The duo performed at the Pensacola Saenger Theater in June, just days into their new U.S. tour and fresh from completing the mix for their newest album, "Roseland."

Buck Showalter
Born in Defuniak Springs, Florida, Buck Showalter was an All-American baseball player at Mississippi State University before being drafted to the New York Yankees Minor League team where he spent seven seasons. Though he never played in the major leagues, he worked his way up as manager in the minor leagues and was promoted to the Yankees major league coaching staff in 1990 before becoming team manager in 1992. After being named American League "Manager of the Year" in 1995, he left the Yankees and was hired by the Arizona Diamondbacks expansion team to develop their playing roster. After managing Arizona for three years, Showalter worked as an ESPN analyst before joining the Texas Rangers where he was once again named "Manager of the Year" in 2004. He left the Rangers in 2006 and worked since as an ESPN Baseball analyst. Showalter discusses his rise from the minor leagues to his experiences on baseball’s biggest stage with the Yankees organization and his relationships with Yankees owner George Steinbrenner and legendary manager Billy Martin.

Bobby Allison, NASCAR Legend
Now a NASCAR legend with an unparalleled racing career, Bobby tells how his racing career began and his rise to the top of the sport. With over 84 wins in NASCAR’s premier racing series he is tied for third on the all-time win list. Jim Morris, The Rookie
He was a small town high school baseball coach in his thirties who virtually overnight became a major league baseball pitcher. For Jim Morris it was a boyhood dream come true. In a ploy to motivate his high school team, he agreed to try out for a major league team if they won their district championship — when the team won Morris kept his promise and attended a tryout for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. To his and the major league scouts surprise, he could still consistently throw a 90 plus mile per hour fastball. After a short stint in the minor leagues he was called up to the major leagues. The story so impressed Disney, they made of movie about Morris’s journey. The movie entitled “The Rookie” starred Dennis Quaid and went on to be a huge success.
