What You Need to Know About the Switch to Digital TV
Are You Ready For February 17, 2009?

TV is changing, and it may require action on your part or you won’t get any TV signal at all.

Do you watch free, over-the-air television?
Do you use an antenna or “rabbit ears” to receive television signals?
Do you have a TV that is not hooked up to cable or satellite service?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you will need to take action before February 17, 2009. If your TVs have digital tuners, or if you have cable/satellite service, your television reception will continue uninterrupted — you’ve already made the switch!

Your television is going to change — for the better. And WSRE is here to help you make the switch! Sign up for WSRE’s Go Digital info kit and we will mail you a packet of detailed information about the swtich to digital television (DTV).

On February 17, 2009, all broadcast television stations, including WSRE, will stop broadcasting analog signals (over-the-air television received through an antenna or “rabbit ears”) and switch to a new digital format.

WSRE's been preparing for years. In fact, WSRE began broadcasting in digital on July 3, 2001. So you don’t even have to wait until February 17, 2009 to make the switch. You can Go Digital with WSRE today!

You'll love WSRE even more after you Go Digital! You'll get a better picture and sound, more WSRE channels to choose from — all FREE, without having to subscribe to cable/satellite.

But it may require action on your part or you won’t get any TV signal at all. Find out what you need to do to be ready for the switch.
