Automotive Expert Bobby Likis on WSRE's Conversations with Jeff Weeks on August 9th, 2012
Pensacola, Fla. — On Thursday, August 9 at 7:30 p.m., WSRE’s “Conversations with Jeff Weeks” welcomes Bobby Likis, an automotive expert and radio personality.
Likis discusses how his automotive and media careers began, from the early days working for a dealership to starting his own shop to launching a media career. He explains how technology has changed the automobile and what consumers have to look forward too as technology continues to improve in the automotive industry. Likis also talks about renewable fuels, such as ethanol. Likis’ wealth of experience provides interesting conversation on automotive technology and entrepreneurship.
From a very young age, Bobby Likis knew his direction in life would involve cars. He has worn just about every hat in the automotive industry from technician to race car driver and pit crew, automotive service center owner, industry consultant, and radio and television talk show host/personality. Likis currently hosts the nationally syndicated “Bobby Likis Car Clinic” broadcast and is the owner of “Bobby Likis Car Clinic/PreRepair®.” He has been recognized for numerous achievements in both the automotive and broadcasting industry. Likis’ Car Clinic Service automotive shop is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
“Conversations with Jeff Weeks” is a half-hour, weekly series that is “personality-driven,” featuring in-depth discussions with unique individuals and leading newsmakers from all walks of life. The program airs most Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on WSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast.
