Sports Writer Don Yaeger on “Conversations with Jeff Weeks”

Thursday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. on WSRE, “Conversations with Jeff Weeks” welcomes veteran journalist, New York Times bestselling author, business leader and entrepreneur Don Yaeger. Yaeger has worked with some of the biggest personalities in sports, writing books with Walter Payton, Warrick Dunn, John Wooden, Michael Oher and others. Yaeger has written 17 books, including four New York Times bestsellers, and also worked as Associate Editor with Sports Illustrated Magazine, writing numerous magazine articles including several high profile investigative pieces. On this episode of Conversations, Don shares with Jeff what it is like to be on the inside with some of the sports world’s greatest figures and gives viewers a real insight into the personal lives and beliefs of some of these sports champions.

“Conversations with Jeff Weeks” is a half-hour, weekly series that is “personality-driven,” featuring in-depth discussions with unique individuals and leading newsmakers from all walks of life. The program airs Thursday nights at 7:30 p.m., Friday nights at 9 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. on WSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast.
