WSRE's Tea*Licious Tea Party a Tasty Success

WSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast, recently held its second annual spring tea party, Tea•Licious, on Sunday, May 15 in the courtyard garden of The Lee House on Bayfront Parkway in downtown Pensacola. The public television fundraiser was a success raising nearly $10,000 in gross revenue towards the mission of local public television station WSRE.

Guests enjoyed afternoon tea service catered by Nancy’s Haute Affairs and the jazz music of Al Martin, while laughing along with Becca Boles as she shared her truly entertaining “Ten Tea•Licious Lessons for Life” as learned from the quintessential Southern movie “Steel Magnolias.” The afternoon event honored local business woman and philanthropist Patricia Windham for her years of dedicated service to WSRE as a station supporter and the past chair of the WSRE Foundation Board of Directors.
