Environment is the Focus of Tonight’s “Connecting the Community”
WSRE Airs Special “Connecting the Community” LIVE Thursday at 7PM
WSRE, Viewer Supported PBS for the Gulf Coast, will air a special live episode of Connecting the Community on Thursday, May 20, at 7 p.m., as experts discuss the Gulf Coast Oil Spill and its environmental impact on our area.
A panel of guests, including Captain Robert Turpin, Escambia Marine Resources Manager; Buzz Ritchie, CEO of Gulf Coast Community Bank and former State representative; and Dr. Richard Snyder, Director of the University of West Florida Center for Environmental Diagnostics will discuss the potential environmental and economic impact along the Florida Panhandle.
