Actor, Entrepreneur and Commentator Wayne Rogers on “Conversations with Jeff Weeks” December 30

Thursday, December 30 at 7:30 p.m. on WSRE, “Conversations with Jeff Weeks” welcomes Wayne Rogers -- actor, businessman, entrepreneur and Fox News Network contributor. Most widely remembered as playing “Trapper John” on the hit television show M*A*S*H, Rogers’ career reaches far beyond Hollywood. Rogers is Chairman or CEO of several businesses, and has established himself as a leading commentator on economic and business issues, working as a regular contributor on the Fox News Network. On this episode of “Conversations,” Rogers talks with Jeff Weeks about a wide variety of topics including entrepreneurship, Hollywood and politics.

A man of many talents, Rogers earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Princeton University and served in the Navy for three years before beginning his acting career. His business and economic expertise has evolved into his business management of other top Hollywood talents, running banks, managing real estate ventures, heading major investment firms, and appearing as an expert witness before the Congressional House Banking Committee. He is presently Chairman of Wayne M. Rogers & Co, an investment strategy firm, and CEO and Chairman of Stop-N-Save, LLC, which owns and operates convenience stores in the Southeast. He is also Chairman of the Board of Kleinfeld, the famous wedding dress emporium in New York, and he serves on the boards of a number of national and international corporations and organizations.

“Conversations with Jeff Weeks” is a half-hour, weekly series that is “personality-driven,” featuring in-depth discussions with unique individuals and leading newsmakers from all walks of life. The program airs Thursday nights at 7:30 p.m., Friday nights at 9 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. on WSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast.
