People on the Move: Mike Layton Joins WSRE

Mike Layton has joined WSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast, in the position of Account Executive for Corporate Support and Underwriting. In his new position, he will focus on new business in the eastern and western most parts of the station’s viewing area.

Layton comes to WSRE from Corporate Express Office Products in Pensacola where he worked first as an account manager and was quickly promoted to sales manager for the Gulf Coast Division. Prior to that, he was with Waller Bros. of Pensacola for seventeen years, the last ten as general manager; and the Boatwright Company, providing advertising specialties to clients throughout Northwest Florida. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and has had extensive sales training.
