WSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast Wins Four National Telly Awards

Tell AWardWSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast, was honored this year with four bronze National Telly Awards during the 30th Annual Telly Awards. In the category of documentary, WSRE received a bronze Telly Award for each of the following original productions: “Gulf Coast War Memories,” “Honor Flight...A Journey of Heroes” and “Pensacola Veterans Memorial Park.” In the category of educational programming, WSRE received a bronze Telly Award for its original production: “The Ripple Effect: The Digital School Initiative.”

Founded in 1978, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online film and video. The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, interactive agencies, and corporate video departments in the world. The Telly Awards receives over 13,000 entries annually from all 50 states and countries around the world.
