Wine & Food Classic - Wine & Food is an annual fundraising event for WSRE-TV held in the Fall that showcases the Gulf Coast's finest restaurants and a silent and live auction of art, vacations and other fabulous items. WSRE-TV was awarded top honors for its Wine & Food Classic fundraising event at the National PBS Development Conference in 2000-2001. WSRE-TV was the sole winner of the "Special Fundraising Events" award for stations with fewer than one million households in their viewing area. At the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) Conference, WSRE-TV was awarded "Best of the Best for Development." Membership Pledge Drives - In the winter and spring, WSRE-TV conducts a pledge drive to encourage viewers of public television to financially support the quality, commercial-free programming offered through WSRE-TV. Volunteers and corporate sponsors play a vital role in making each pledge drive a success - if you or your company is interested in volunteering, please fill out our online volunteer form.
