Hosted by Sherri Hemminghaus Weeks, “Beyond the Menu” is a new WSRE program showcasing local restaurants while offering viewers like you the opportunity to wine and dine in support of public television!

Our pilot episode features four Pensacola restaurants: The District: Seville Steak and Seafood, McGuire’s Irish Pub, Pot Roast & Pinot* and Scenic 90 Café. Watch and learn about each restaurant’s history, chef and signature dishes.

With a $100 donation to the WSRE-TV Foundation, you will receive a pack of dining vouchers good for a menu item of the chef’s choice and a wine pairing at each of the four restaurants. These “Beyond the Menu” dining vouchers will be delivered after the show’s Thanksgiving premiere, packaged for holiday giving and the perfect stocking stuffer!

*Pot Roast & Pinot dining vouchers will be honored at 86 Forks (same app sampler and wine trio) when the Asian-inspired small plates and noodle bowl restaurant opens on Jan. 18 from the same space at 11B Palafox St.


 

 

Each packet includes 4 dining vouchers - one per restaurant featured in the Beyond the Menu program - for a chef's choice of dish and wine pairing. The dishes and wine pairings are:

The District Seville Steak & Food - Marinated Steak Skewer Appetizer paired with a glass of Hayes Ranch Cabernet or Chardonnay

McGuire's Irish Pub - Jameson Pork Chops Entree paired with a glass of Mark West Pinot Noir

Pot Roast & Pinot (now 86Forks) - Appetizer Sampler with a trio of wine tastings *Note: 86Forks is owned by the same person who owned PR&P and they will honor the Beyond the Menu vouchers

Scenic 90 Cafe - Baked Pensacola Red Snapper paired with a glass of Roncolato Pinot Grigio
