Resources for Teachers, Students and Families

WSRE and PBS are always here to support teachers, students and families. Providing free educational content on air and online is at the core of our mission!

During this challenging time of COVID-19 school closures, we have adjusted our daytime program schedule to provide standards-aligned educational content that local educators and parents can use to support virtual classroom instruction. Paired with a variety of online resources, WSRE and other PBS stations are providing tools that address the critical need for quality distance learning resources.

ON-AIR

WSRE PBS KIDS content airs on two channels, WSRE (23.1 over the air) and WSRE PBS KIDS (23.4 over the air and 695 on Cox).

In response to COVID-19 school closures and to help families fill the summer gap with educational content, the regular schedule of PBS KIDS programming on WSRE (23.1) from 6am to 6pm has been replaced with curriculum-related, standards-aligned programming for students learning from home. Click here (wsre.org/schedule) for the program schedule.

WSRE PBS KIDS is the only free, over-the-air 24/7 television service for children in our region. It offers anytime access to educational series for kids ages 2-8. This broadcast and online streaming service ensures that high-quality, educationally based programming is available to every child, anytime and anywhere.
