WSRE provides the broadcast as a public service and encourages all citizens to vote.
Mollye Barrows is the producer and will co-host the programs with WUWF’s Sandra Averhart.

To participate in the primary election broadcast, each candidate must have responded before 5pm CST on Thursday, August 2. The criteria deadline for the general election broadcast was 5pm CST on Friday, October 12. Candidates must have demonstrated satisfaction of the criteria via email to Kasey Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As stated in the criteria, WSRE reserves the right not to cover particular political races and, notwithstanding its having invited a candidate or candidates to appear, WSRE reserves the right to cancel any scheduled program.
