Production Studios
WSRE-TV's Kugelman Center for Telecommunications houses three well-equipped studios.
- The Jean and Paul Amos Performance Studio, is Pensacola’s largest multipurpose high-definition TV studio and has a floor space of 60' by 80'. It is equipped with an extensive theatrical lighting grid, theater seating for 500, a high definition screen and projector, a 30’ by 20’ green screen, and much more! The Amos Studio is rental ready with its own greenroom facilities, exterior entrance, patron restrooms, and a breakout room with food prep area.
- The Phyllis and Michael Johnson Studio, best known as WSRE’s workforce studio, has floor space of 40' by 50'. The Johnson Studio is equipped with high definition technology and has broadcast quality fluorescent lighting; supplemented with quartz lighting.
- Studio C, is the smallest studio and has floor space of 18' by 27'. It serves as a self-contained studio equipped for uplink services. It has broadcast quality fluorescent lighting along with several background options to choose from.

WSRE Uplink Services
As a PBS affiliate, WSRE-TV's digital cameras, nonlinear editing equipment are available to clients, cable and national broadcasters to cover local and regional stories of national interest. WSRE-TV offers fixed uplink services. We are equipped with LTN & fully redundant Ku SD digital equipment. The studio uplink facilities have the capability of feeding live studio events, Digital files, Beta SP, digi-beta, beta SX, beta IMX, DVCam, and DVCPro tape.
WSRE requests a minimum of a two-hour notice for uplink services. We welcome a longer notice for the uplink services.
