PENSACOLA, Fla., February 29, 2024 ― Cheri Bone has been promoted to program operations manager at WSRE PBS, a service of Pensacola State College, after having served as assistant manager for five years and upon the retirement of longtime traffic manager Brent Burton.

Burton first joined WSRE PBS in 1985 and served the station for 25 years altogether, retiring from Pensacola State College on January 5.

Originally from Galveston, Texas, and a graduate of the Art Institute of Houston, Bone has worked 22 years in the broadcast operations industry for television networks in Houston, Los Angeles and Pensacola.

The WSRE PBS Development & Community Engagement Department has welcomed Lolly Carlson as donor services manager and Marlee Warner as development coordinator.
