PENSACOLA, Fla., June 27, 2019 ― Families are invited to come “Hit a Home Run for Early Learning” at Blue Wahoos Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 4. Starting at 3 p.m. before the game, there will be fun children’s activities and appearances by characters from “Clifford the Big Red Dog,” “Super Why!” and “Curious George” PBS KIDS shows at the WSRE Imagination Station.

This is a return appearance for Clifford, an all-star pup from the PBS KIDS lineup, for this “Bark in the Park” Pensacola Blue Wahoos game against the Birmingham Barons.

The Imagination Station is located outside the stadium near the box office. The costumed characters will also roam the stadium during the game to meet and greet with young fans.

The WSRE Imagination Station is a free early learning activity center for parents to engage with their children in hands-on activities using PBS KIDS educational resources, including computer games, books and toys. Regular hours are 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Saturday and during Pensacola Blue Wahoos home games, opening an hour before the first pitch. Learn more at wsre.org/ImaginationStation.
